Lighthouse Photography Shows, Lectures and Signings for The Lighthouse Hunters
March 4, 2014 Due to Hurricane Sandy destroying the first floor of our home we decided to raise our house almost 7 feet higher. It was a very intense experience but we learned a lot. I was our general contractor for the second time in 2 years. Now our house should be safe if another flood happened.

October 29, 2012 Hurricane Sandy destroyed thousands of homes and lives on the east coast. We had 7 feet of ocean water in our yard and three feet of ocean water in our home. It was a very hard road but six months later our home is almost back to normal. Next we'll have to raise our house eight feet higher to avoid getting flooded again. This hasn't been fun at all. A lot of tears and tough times. We can't wait to get back on the road to have fun again.
