Other Lighthouse Information:
The Erie Yacht Club lighthouse is a 36 foot tall round cylindrical steel tower with a focal plane of 32 feet. The lighthouse is active from April through October with a white flash every 2 seconds. It's on the water at the Erie Yacht Club marina. We noticed the marina was mostly filled with dozens of nice looking sailboats.
The Lighthouse Hunters Experience:
We found this lighthouse difficult to find before we had a gps. Back in 2006 the lighthouse was surrounded by a nice waterside deck. When we returned in 2010 using our gps we found a large open gazebo with a blue metal roof around it.
