Lighthouse Adventures 1997
Fall 1997 was our first official lighthouse trip. We had no lighthouse books, maps or directions to guide us while in New Brunswick, Canada. We got an incomplete lighthouse list. We took a car ferry to Grand Manan Island to see the lighthouses. We left the island the same day because our reservations were lost. We circled the province and realized that we need to be more prepared. We photographed 52 lighthouses. We loved Hopewell Rocks and the Bay of Fundy tides. We drove 3,238 miles in eleven days.
