We took 2 boat trips in 2007 with the Chesapeake Chapter of ALF. We got very close to several of the off-shore lighthouses. In 2009 we went on a two-day boat trip with Chesapeake Lights to see more of the off-shore lighthouses in Virginia and Maryland. In 2013 we finally saw the Old Plantation Flats Replica.
One of these two Welcome to Virginia State signs were right after a bridge on route 301 South. It was right before the Welcome Center on the right side of the road. I took these shots on April 16 and 17, 2008.
