We had a fantastic vacation back in 2003 photographing the east coast lighthouses. We loved the great seafood buffets! We also traveled to North Carolina in 2007 and 2008 and improved on several of our lighthouse photographs. Then we returned in 2013 to finally see the Roanoke River light in its final destination.

This is the Welcome to North Carolina State sign. It was on the southbound side of I-95 on the right. I took this shot on April 7, 2008.
