For years we were vendors at the Turkey Point light during the fun Maryland Lighthouse Challenge. For two days in the hot summer of 2009, we were on a Chesapeake Lights boat trip, seeing the off shore lights of MD and VA. More boats in 2010. In 2013 we saw the newly made Choptank River Replica. In 2014 a repeat boat trip in MD.
This Welcome to Maryland State sign was on I-95 southbound after the Delaware Turnpike toll and the Elkton, MD sign. I took this shot on April 17, 2008.
